Is Universal Health Care in the USA Valid?

Although universal health maybe standard in some countries around the world including my own, would it be effective in the USA beyond what Medicaid currently provides? Michael Moore is shying away from the USA's most popular cable network, but a nurse was on O'Reilly to talk about it. Says alot about Moore not wanting to be put to the fire.
