Do heath care costs reflect health care quality?




Does high price equal high quality in health care? Elizabeth Olmsted Teisberg, co-author of Redefining Health Care: Creating Value-Based Competition on Results, discusses the major myth of the value of modern health care on this episode of Books of our Times. In her interview with host Lawrence R. Velvel the dean of the Massachusetts School of Law. Teisberg asserts that on average American's receive only about 50% of the care that we know to be effective.
