Flatland BMX in Union Square 7/27/07

Riders from Ontario and Japan in town for a big Flatland gathering in NYC on the 28th.

This happened right as the big ralley/protest/critical mass re: the proposed (total bullshit) regulations on public photography and filming in NYC. More info here: http://www.pictureny.org/?cat=12

Basically, tho, it would require any group of people filming or taking pictures in public to get a permit and $1 mil in liability insurance. Sounds like an tactical assault on independent artists, civil liberties and the First Amendment - 3 of my favorite things about this country.
