Top Tip to insurance helpline telephonists. Increase your power and get lots of respect by refusing to allow the structural engineer to urgently repair this house before the river runs again and it all falls down. Respect.
PS: Thanks to YouTube this video has put a rocket under officialdom, and cut the red tape. The insurance company sent out surveyors within 24hours of seeing this on 21st June 2005 (though the builders were ready to go and asking for the loss-adjuster's approval from 18th June). Thank you YouTube for saving my house.
